Know about the steps to create iCloud account

With iCloud users can store and share data on their apple device like photos, documents, files, music etc. But iCloud can be accessed only through an Apple ID. Therefore if you want to create icloud account then you will first have to create an Apple ID. After creating an Apple ID users can then configure their iCloud settings.

The steps to create an Apple ID are:

• Open the settings icon in your iPhone.

• Click on ‘Sign in to your iPhone’.

• If you have an older iOS version then click on iCloud option and then select ‘Create a new Apple ID’ option.

• Now another page will open. Select ‘Don't have an Apple ID or forgot it’ option over there.

• Then select ‘Create Apple ID’ option.

• Now you will have to enter your date of birth.

• After this enter your first and last name.

• Then you will be asked to put an email address.

• You can choose to create new iCloud email or enter any current email.

• Enter the email address.

• Then type a new password.

• Your new password should be minimum 8 characters long and should have at least one number and one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter.

• Rewrite the password to verify.

• Now you will have to provide your phone number. Select your country and then enter the number.

• You can then select the way to get verification code on a Text or Call.

•  A 6 digit code will be sent to you through the way you chose.

• Enter that code in the blank field.

• Now few terms and conditions will appear. Read them properly and then click ‘Agree’.

• After this, enter your iPhone’s passcode from which you unlock the device.

• You can then choose to merge your data like reminders, contacts, notes etc. with your iCloud account. You can also select ‘Don't Merge’ if you want.

• Your Apple ID is successfully created. You can now set up your iCloud account.
